Five years ago, we set up a bright yellow mobile fertility clinic in New York City with an offer for complimentary fertility checks. A line formed around two city blocks within hours. We knew we were on to something! In order to truly transform fertility healthcare we had to upend the status quo and make the delivery of care more accessible to consumers and partner with employers to deliver affordable care to their employees. Today, Kindbody is the leading fertility clinic network and family-building benefits provider for employers.

As 2023 draws to a close, we are taking the time to reflect on some of this year’s milestones with gratitude for our patients, clients, investors, and our team for the privilege of helping many thousands of people become parents.

Let’s take a look at some of this year’s highlights:

Rightway, Quantum Health, Virgin Pulse, and Castlight navigation solutions selected Kindbody for their partnership ecosystem making our comprehensive and affordable fertility and reproductive healthcare benefits accessible to companies of all sizes.

Kindbody ranked no. 30 fastest-growing company in North America on prestigious 2023 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ list for technological innovation.

Kindbody was recognized for scientific excellence with the first place prize presentation at ASRM. Manuel Viotti, Ph.D., HCLD, Vice President of Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) and Clinical Laboratory Director presented on the subject of a large-scale international collaborative effort analyzing the clinical outcomes of mosaic embryo transfers, the first study of its kind.

This year Walmart, the largest U.S. employer, provided its associates financial and clinical support to build the family of their dreams through Kindbody.

Kindlabs, our in-house genetic testing division, opened incorporating genomics into our vertically integrated, end-to-end model. Kindlabs combines industry-leading technology and expertise, and stringent quality standards, optimizing the chances of our patient’s achieving a successful pregnancy and bringing home a healthy baby.

We raised $125 million in funding to scale availability of high-quality reproductive care and address infertility. Kindbody has raised $315 million funding total.

Kindbody clinics opened in Bethesda, MD, and The East Bay, Ca.. Today we have 34 state-of-the-art clinics nationwide.

We saw a  60% increase in male patient visits, 25% of which were for fertility assessments. Often painted as a women’s issue, Kindbody has raised awareness of male fertility, which is a factor in half of all infertility cases.

Kindbody added 27 employer clients in 2023 and today is the trusted fertility and family-building solution for more than 132 companies including Walmart, Lyft, and Geico, covering more than 2.7 million lives.

Every new Kindbody employer client included surrogacy in their family-building program this year. Today 85% of Kindbody clients offer surrogacy

5x more than 2019, signaling a growing trend in employers adding benefits that support all families and cover all paths to parenthood.

We welcomed 3,616 Kindbabies born to parents who might not otherwise have been able to grow their families because of educational, financial, and/or geographic barriers to fertility care.
