This week we had the incredible opportunity to attend The Conference Board Employee Healthcare Conference in beautiful San Diego. The event brought leading employers and benefits executives to discuss the latest trends and innovations in employee healthcare.
Our Founding Physician, Dr. Fahimeh Sasan, was joined on stage by Kindbody employer clients’, Emily Gulino of Princeton University and Sara Richards of Redbull, to discuss the importance of offering reproductive healthcare benefits that cover all life stages.
Here are some highlights from the event:
- The workforce has never been more diverse and their reproductive health and family-building needs more broad. A comprehensive program should cover: a range of ages, varying conditions, all gender identities, heterosexual couples, same-sex couples, single parents and they should be geographically distributed.
- Red Bull was able to reinvest the savings from their Kindbody benefit to make their fertility benefits go farther for their employees, giving them more options for family building.
- Princeton shared that in order for fertility benefits to be truly equitable across your entire employee population, they should cover donor services.
- Menopause support has emerged as one of the must have benefits programs among employers. Red Bull offers menopause support through Kindbody.
- Employers don’t want another virtual care navigator or digital app to manage fertility care, which is one of the most important and often expensive treatments for employees. They want a hybrid solution of both virtual and in-person care.
Next stop: The Conference Board in New York. We hope to see you there!
