The Start Of Our Story

“After trying to conceive for a year, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was referred to a reproductive endocrinologist who suggested we try a medicated cycle and an IUI, both of which were unsuccessful. Thankfully we then qualified for an employer benefit at Kindbody. This was such a better experience from what we had at our previous fertility clinic. We met with Dr. Ikhena-Abel and she got things going right away for us to start IVF. All of the staff was great. The nurses, ultrasound techs, phlebotomists, embryologists- everyone treated us with patience and kindness as we went through the whole process. Our first embryo transfer was a success and we were blessed with our sweet, perfect baby.

Thoughts on Kindbody

“Everyone always treated me so kindly. I had so much anxiety throughout the whole IVF experience. I had a million questions and everyone was always so patient with me and made me feel safe.”

Advice For Other Patients

“There’s a lot of information to take in, so many appointments. Ask as many questions as you need. There’s a lot of online support groups that are very helpful. Also, try to think of this as a marathon, not a sprint. Sometimes there are setbacks in your journey to conceive but it’s always worth the effort.”
