Caitlin Bley, DNP, CNM, IBCLC
Caitlin is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who believes combining evidence based care with personalized, client focused education leads to better outcomes and better experiences for her patients.
After completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2012, she was commissioned into the U.S. Army as Nurse Corps Officer. She spent 6 years serving on active duty at Fort Gordon, Georgia and then at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After leaving active duty, she completed her Master’s in 2018 and then Doctorate in 2020 at Frontier Nursing University. Her doctoral project focused on the effects of exercise in pregnancy on gestational diabetes, infant health and overall maternal outcomes. She has also obtained the highest international certification in lactation when she became an IBCLC in 2018.
Her passion for reproductive healthcare was ignited while working as a labor and delivery nurse and supporting patients as they became parents. After becoming a CNM, she witnessed the deep influence she had on her patients throughout their lifespan and the positive outcomes that could result from her care. She worked first as a CNM, in Texas, at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing full scope obstetrical and gynecological care. At the FQHC she worked with an underserved population who oftentimes had numerous barriers to getting care and patient education became a cornerstone in her practice. She spent her final year in Texas at Holy Family Birth Center, one of the oldest free standing birth centers in America.
After moving back to Saint Louis, MO and joining Kindbody in 2022, she has continued to provide dedicated and personalized care to every patient she gets the honor to walk this journey with.
Her passions include maternal mental health, endometriosis, diminished ovarian reserve, lactation and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Caitlin sees patients in our Saint Louis, Swansea, and Rogers clinics.
